Rain has slowed down and rivers are on the drop. Heading to the Elochoman River tomorrow to chase winter run steelhead!

Today was a TOUGH day! While the weather was beautiful, almost spring like, the lack of rain has river levels here in SW Washington near summer levels. On the bright side with some rain things should start to turn on, it's this time of year that we see some truly BIG steelhead!

Its that time of year when our early hatchery fish are behind us are we're waiting for our late fish to begin showing. Big beautiful fish like this are around for those willing to put their time in, this brute HAMMERED a k9 kwikfish and drug us downriver a quarter of a mile before giving up long enough for this photo!
